Plymouth has been named the UK’s most affordable city for renters.
Plymothians spend around a quarter of their income on rent. A figure dwarfed by tenants in London who can expect to give up half their paycheque.
Cardiff, Leeds, Norwich and Glasgow complete the top five, according to data published by Homelet .
Birmingham and Edinburgh are not far behind London with renters handing over 47% of their income.
