What do you do at Rentify?

We help landlords market and manage their properties online or via our premium lettings & management service.

How much is this going to cost me?

You can benefit from Rentify’s online landlord services for only a small fee. These include advertising on Zoopla & Rightmove, tenant credit checks, and AST contracts among other products.

Our premium letting/management services (currently available in London) will cost about half of the fees of a typical high street agent. Rentify’s premium letting service (tenant finding, viewings, credit checks, contracts) costs 5.5% and our 24/7 management service costs 4%.

How do you make money?

We offer a range of optional paid-for services such as premium advertising on Rightmove, instant credit checking, customised contracts and eviction notices, and a premium property letting & management service in London.

Do you have offices?

Rentify has two UK offices: Darlington, serving the north of England and Scotland, and London, serving the south. Both are hubs for training our property specialists to deliver excellent customer service. This means ARLA certification, and Rentify’s own advanced letting and management service training.

How long will it take to set up my account?

You can create your account in a few minutes. Once you've given us a few details about your property, we'll get in touch to publish your property advert and find the right tenants for you.

How many photos should I upload for my advert?

Good photos will really sell your property. For best results use a high-resolution camera to take a handful of photos. Properties with high quality photos attract better tenants.

How long does it take for my property advert to go live on Zoopla?

Once you submit your details, a Rentify property specialist will be in touch within 24 hours to check and complete your advert. We'll then be able to advertise your property on other websites. We’ll email you to let you know as soon as your property is live.

How do prospective tenants contact me?

Every advert has a four digit reference code. We have 24/7 hotline for tenant enquiries managed by our property specialists. They will process the tenant enquiries on your behalf and forward you details of all interested tenants.

How do you make sure the tenant has supplied you with the correct credit check information?

It never hurts to be a little cautious. As part of the credit checking process for our full lettings and management products, we collect detailed information about the tenant’s employment status and address history. We then confirm this with the tenant’s referees. We even take steps to ensure the tenant has provided genuine referees. For instance, we only ever accept a written employer reference from a valid company email address.

Are you members of any professional bodies?

We are members of ARLA (Association of Residential Letting Agents), the RLA (Residential Landlords Association) and the SAL (Scottish Landlords Association). We are also members of The Property Ombudsman redress scheme and follow their Code of Conduct.
